By completing a purchase with Confectionery Soaps Co. (“CSC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please review them carefully before placing an order.
1. Agreement to Terms
By making a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, acknowledged, and agreed to all CSC Terms & Conditions. Acceptance of these terms is required to complete your purchase.
2. All Sales Are Final
CSC’s checkout process includes multiple steps and clear opportunities to review your order before completing payment. As such, all sales are final. We do not accept cancellations, returns, or refunds under any circumstances. Please shop responsibly.
3. Shipping & Fees
All customers, both domestic and international, are fully responsible for paying shipping costs at checkout. International customers may be subject to additional customs duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by their local governments. These fees are the customer’s responsibility and are not controlled or reimbursed by CSC.
4. Fulfillment Timeline
As of October 28, 2025, CSC operates on a 5 business day fulfillment window. This does not include the day of purchase, weekends, or holidays.
CSC reserves the right to extend this timeline in the event of unforeseen personal or operational circumstances such as illness, family emergencies, or other events that temporarily impact production or staffing. Please note that we are a small team, and we appreciate your understanding.
Fulfillment time refers to order preparation and packaging only. Shipping and transit times are determined solely by the postal carrier (USPS/UPS).
Please note: During high-volume periods, including preparation for upcoming launches, seasonal releases, or major restocks, our standard 5-business-day fulfillment window may temporarily extend. Any adjusted timelines will be shared on our website and/or product pages. Purchasing from CSC indicates your acknowledgement and acceptance that fulfillment timelines may change during these periods and do not qualify an order for cancellation, return, or refund.
5. Order Inquiries
If you contact us about your order within our stated fulfillment window, we will refer you to these Terms & Conditions. Orders that fall outside of the stated timeline will be reviewed and addressed promptly.
6. Tracking & Postal Carrier Claims
CSC does not have any internal or “back-end” access to postal carrier systems beyond the tracking information provided to you. The tracking link you receive is the same information available to us.
Customers are responsible for filing any claims directly with the postal carrier if a package is lost, delayed, or damaged, as shipping services are purchased by the customer at checkout.
7. Packaging & Transit Handling
CSC takes great care in preparing and packaging every order. We use materials such as crinkle paper, packing peanuts, and bubble wrap at no cost to the customer to help protect your items.
Once your order leaves our workshop, CSC is not responsible for damage incurred during transit. All packages are shipped in pristine condition, and we cannot control how postal carriers handle parcels once they are in transit.
8. Product Care & Climate Considerations
Some products, such as candles, may soften or melt during warmer months or in overheated delivery vehicles. This is a normal occurrence and not considered damage or a defect.
9. Product Packaging & Supply Substitutions
Due to supply and demand, CSC reserves the right to make minor adjustments to product packaging or containers without prior notice. For example, a product shown in a “Boston round” bottle may arrive in a “cylinder” vessel if inventory or supply chain limitations require substitution.
10. Pricing Policy
CSC will not increase product prices to offset supply chain challenges, material shortages, or tariffs.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including product descriptions, photos, logos, and design elements, is the property of CSC and may not be copied, distributed, or used without written permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
CSC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products or from issues related to shipping, carrier delays, or fulfillment timing.
13. Pre-Orders
Pre-order items are offered in advance of their official release date and do not follow our standard fulfillment turnaround time. Each pre-order product page will include the expected ship-out date or shipping window.
By placing a pre-order, you agree to our traditional terms & conditions and ALSO acknowledge the following ammendments:

The ship-out date listed on the product page is a guaranteed date and serves as the official source of truth for when your order will leave our facility. CSC holds itself to this commitment, and by completing your purchase, you agree to this mutual understanding.

Inquiries regarding pre-order status will be referred to the product description and these Terms & Conditions. 
- 
Cancellations, refunds, or returns for pre-orders are not accepted under any circumstances. 
- 
Full payment is required at the time of purchase to reserve your item. 
- 
If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, CSC will either ship all of the products together once the pre-order item(s) is available OR invoice you for additional shipping and send you the ready-to-ship products separately. CSC will email the customer to confirm, if applicable. 
CSC does its best to communicate clear timelines and updates regarding pre-order logistics. Please review product descriptions carefully and shop responsibly.
14. Candle Care and/or Wooden Wick Products
Confectionery Soaps Co. (“CSC”) wooden wick soy candles are handmade with care and designed to provide a premium, long-lasting experience. By purchasing a candle from CSC, you acknowledge that these products require proper care and handling, which may differ from standard paraffin or mass-market candles.
All candles leaving our workshop are carefully inspected and are not defective. Common "issues" such as uneven burning, failure to light, or rapid tunneling are often the result of improper care, such as extinguishing the flame too early or not allowing the candle to develop a full melt pool.
CSC does not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for candle issues that result from user handling and/or user error. Customers are encouraged to review our Candle Care section on the website, which provides detailed guidance and remedies for all potential situations.
By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted our candle care requirements, and that CSC is not responsible for misuse, mishandling, or improper treatment of wooden wick candles. Our team is happy to provide advice and guidance, but all remedies and adjustments must be done according to the instructions outlined in the Candle Care section.
15. Sales With Significant Discounts
Confectionery Soaps Co. (“CSC”) is a small business, and during events that include major price reductions (e.g., flash sales, warehouse clear-outs, significant discount promotions, etc.), orders may be packaged with simplified materials.
This means items purchased during these discounted events may not include our signature specialty packaging, such as tissue paper, ribbons, stickers, bows, free samples and/or other decorative elements. While your products will still be packaged safely and securely for transit, enhanced presentation materials are not guaranteed.
By participating in discounted sales, you acknowledge and agree to these packaging limitations.
